We write the content of this website with care, but we can’t guarantee that it is complete, correct or up to date. As the provider of this website we are responsible for our own content under the general laws. We are not obliged to monitor third-party information that is transmitted or stored, or to look for circumstances that point to illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this respect only begins when we become aware of a specific legal violation. When we learn of one, we remove the content immediately.

If this website links to external websites, we have no influence on their content and accept no responsibility for it; the operator of each linked site is responsible. We check linked pages for obvious legal violations when we set a link. If we learn of a violation, we remove the link immediately.

The name Kartiq, the logo, the texts, the design and the code of this website are the intellectual property of Stephan Boese and Marek Schweiner. Copying, editing, distributing or any other use beyond what copyright law permits requires our prior written consent.

The fonts Sora, Barlow, Barlow Semi Condensed and JetBrains Mono are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Privacy

This website collects no personal data itself. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, and loads all fonts and files from its own server.

Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Every time you open a page, Vercel’s servers necessarily process technical data: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring site. This is needed to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel processes this data on our behalf under its data processing agreement and deletes access logs after a short period. Data may be processed in the USA; Vercel is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision.

Email. If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you and delete them once the matter is settled (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights. You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and complain to a data protection authority (Art. 15–21 and 77 GDPR).
